The Wellbeing Centre
Below the carpark, under a canopy of shady trees, is our beautiful Wellbeing Centre. Sometimes the spiritual program schedules classes and courses here, especially intensive meditation practices which are very suited to its peaceful and natural atmosphere. Our regular yoga classes happen here in the airy light hall and many other groups love to hire the facility for their various activities.

Hire the Wellbeing Centre
The Wellbeing Centre features glass panels overlooking a treetop canopy, which floods the space with natural light. White walls, timber floors and wrap-around verandas make it a beautiful, private venue for group hire.
The perfect venue for:
Yoga retreats, yoga teacher training, meditation retreats, wholistic health workshops, Tai Chi, Chi Gong, Feng Shui, art therapy, craft groups, team building days, workshops, meetings.
The Wellbeing Centre can be hired by groups for activities that are not disruptive and do not contradict Buddhist values.
More about the space:
The hall is 15 metres by 8 metres in size and is ideally suited for:
Up to 50 participants in a classroom set-up.
Up to 25 participants for more physical activities such as yoga or art courses. (Covid restrictions may mean numbers are limited)
 Tea and coffee-making facilities and a fridge are provided outside on the veranda. Underneath the building, there are two toilets, two showers, a dormitory, and an undercover area overlooking the trees.

Our weekends fill up quickly, with some groups organising their annual retreats more than a year in advance. Please contact eventbookings@chenrezig.com.au with potential dates for your booking

Daily rate: $350
Hiring rates and policies will be reviewed at the end of each calendar year.
Accommodation Options
Centre accommodation will be made available to those booking the venue on certain weekends of the month. We can accommodate up to approximately 30 guests across the property in a variety of accommodation options, ranging from shared dormitory rooms through to private self-contained retreat huts.Â
Groups who do not require accommodation, (or need very little), are encouraged to make bookings on the other weekends.
Accommodation options may be affected by covid restrictions.
Code of Conduct
It is requirement that any group booking the Wellbeing Centre agrees to abide by the Chenrezig Institute Code of Conduct and to ensure that all participants are fully aware of the behaviours expected in a monastic community.
Refund policy for venue-hire bookings and accommodation bookings
Starting in January 2022, a full refund will be available on request from the date of booking up until one month prior to the date of your booking. A 50% refund is available on request between one month and seven days prior to the date of your booking. There will be no refund available after seven days prior to the date of your booking, except in the case of covid restrictions which affect your booking. We do not offer refunds if you don’t turn up on the day.
