Vin Yin Yoga
20 November @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm AEST$90
In this yoga workshop you’ll be led through a Vinyasa flow Yang practice to warm up the body, including Sun Salutations, twists, backbends, standing and seated poses in the morning and a restful Yin practice in the afternoon.
The smooth flowing sequences of Vinyasa synchronises movement with the breath, which energises the body and benefits both self-awareness and mindfulness. You’ll develop a stronger body-mind connection and an increased sense of strength and flexibility.
The longer-held passive poses of Yin, which are all seated or supine, target the deep connective tissues and the fascia which allows you to release muscular tension. This practice calms the nervous system, so you can surrender into a deep sense of relaxation for the body and the mind.
Suitable for all levels.
Held in the Wellbeing Centre.
$90 per person.
Please bring your own mat and bolster and wear comfortable, modest clothing.
