Join Ven Wangmo once a month for a few hours of craft, morning tea, and a good ol’ chin wag. Morning tea and basic craft materials are provided and you can take home what you make. The main thing is that we come together as a group to chat about life, Dharma, and making stuff.
Crafts may include origami, knitting, crochet, mala making and repair, paper quilling… But don’t be limited by this list. If you have a craft skill, bring it along – you can never have too many crafting skills! The list of crafts will ebb and flow over time. If special projects pop up, costs will be determined at the time.
Generally, there’s no need to book and there will always be several different craft options available. If you have a particular project in mind contact Wangmo (0428661323) so she can make sure the necessary materials are available.
Venerable Wangmo is a retired teacher who worked mostly with primary school children but also taught in high school, TAFE and university settings, and loves to share her artistic enthusiasms.
She was ordained in 2020 by our own Geshe Tsultrim.
The recommended contribution for these workshops, which includes materials, is $25
It can be paid at the Art Studio on the day but please book in with Ven Wangmo so that she can prepare for the numbers coming.
Time: 9.00am – 12.00noon
Please drop in at the Arts Studio and talk to Tim or contact Ven Wangmo on 0428661323 to ask any questions or to let her know you are coming.
Or you can email to email@example.com
