Calm Abiding Practice Day with Jhampa
10 July @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm AEST$33
“If we want to save the world we must have a plan, but no plan will work unless we meditate. His Holiness the Dalai Lama
Having had a long break from the Calm Abiding Practice Days, there is the opportunity once again to retreat, sit and abide in the natural surroundings of the wellbeing centre to “soothe the body, still the mind and illuminate awareness.” The day will consist of theoretical instruction, ample time for practice both guided and in peaceful silence as well as group discussion.
The practice is based upon meditation instruction found within the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition yet insights from Western Philosophy and Science will be drawn upon to assist the practice.
