Chenrezig Nalanda Masters Garden Project

Currently Lama Tsongkhapa, the 6 Ornaments; Nagarjuna, Aryadeva, Asanga, Vasubandu, Dignaga, Dharmakirti and the 2 Supreme; Gunaprabha and Shakyaprabha are being carved from White Marble by a master sculptor in Vietnam. These 6 ornaments and 2 supreme form the core of the 17 Nalanda masters. They will be life size and will reside on the Prayer Wheel Lawn, on a beautiful Throne with the Fasting Buddha in the center, which is under the Bodhi tree already.

Geshe Phuntsok Tsultrim, inspired by the 16 Arhats statues at Thubten Shedrup Ling monastery in Bendigo, initiated the plans to construct such a garden where the Nalanda Masters will reside to bestow blessings upon all visitors and inspire the practice of pure Dharma.

The estimated cost of the project includes statues, thrones, and surrounding landscaped gardens.
