Dharma Shop Print E-mail
Chenrezig Institute’s Dharma Shop offers a range of beautiful gift items as well as providing support materials for Buddhist study and meditation.

We stock a large range of Buddhist statues, books, incense, prayer flags and prayer beads as well as many Tibetan and Nepali hand-crafted goods.

Following advice from Lama Zopa Rinpoche the Dharma Shop has strict guidelines regarding ‘buying’ and ‘selling’ of Dharma items (statues, deity cards, prayer flags, books etc). In relation to ‘purchasing’ Dharma items one should think that they are making a donation and that in return the shop is giving them a gift of the item. Proceeds from these ‘sales’ are strictly categorized in that net income from Dharma items are never used for general operating expenses but used only to make available more Dharma.

100% of the profits from the Dharma Shop are used to support Chenrezig Institute. All purchases help the centre to provide countless sentient beings with a beautiful, peaceful environment in which they can study and practice.

The Dharma Shop is a great place to find the perfect spiritual gift as well as providing students with all that they need to study and practice Buddhism. Purchases can be made either by visiting the Shop, by phone order or by ordering online. (Until the Dharma Shop’s online site is available purchases can only be made by emailing the shop directly).

It is great that even before we become enlightened or generate any lam-rim realizations we are able to offer incredible benefit to others. The person who does this is a very fortunate person and should rejoice very often. :: Lama Zopa Rinpoche
