Chenrezig Institute is readily accessible to travellers from all over Southeast Queensland via either public transport or your own vehicle.
By car from Brisbane
Chenrezig Institute is approximately 1 hours drive north of Brisbane. From Brisbane, travel on the Bruce Highway and take the Forest Glen exit, then immediately turn hard left into Chevallum Road. Travel 6km along Chevallum Road and then turn left into Palmwoods - Mooloolah Road, following the sign to Eudlo. In the village of Eudlo, go straight through main intersection between School and Tennis Courts (note the magnificent specimen of Ghost Gum tree on the right). This is Highlands Road. Going around the back of the School and under the railway bridge, continue along for approximately 4.5 klms to where the sealed section of road turns to dirt. Immediately turn left into Rambert Road. At the top of the climb on Rambert Road swing around to the right and straight onto Chenrezig Institute property.
By car from the North
From the north (Gympie and the Sunshine Coast), take the Forest Glen exit (just after the Maroochydore exit), turn right then left under the overpass onto Chevallum Road and continue as above.

By public transportWe recommend that you come by train if you need to utilize public transport. There is a train station at Eudlo and taxis are available for transport up to Chenrezig (approximately $15 / $20). To avoid possible long waits, it is advised to pre-book your taxi as soon as you know the arrival time of your train, on 131008.
A train timetable can be viewed at the Transinfo
website or please contact them on T: 131 230. If you're arriving in Eudlo by train note that you need to be in the front carriage as the platform at Eudlo station is quite short. If coming by train from Brisbane airport you will need to change trains at Eagle Junction.
When you have arrived at Chenrezig InstituteOnce on CI property, drive up the long drive way until you come to two car parks (shown below). Between the first and second car-parks, on your right are a flight of landscape stairs which will lead you up past the Stupa (Buddhist monument). Continue up past the public phone box and enter the Reception and Dharma Shop via the first door on the right.
